Kristina Galuszka
I am qualified as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC). While I have various credentials, my main expertise lies in treating OCD, anxiety disorders, depression, low self-esteem, and substance abuse. Through active client engagement, I lead individuals through transformative journeys, promoting a change in outlook and nurturing personal development. My professional focus includes helping adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults dealing with OCD, anxiety, depression, substance use, and self-esteem challenges.
As a therapist, my goal is to assist my clients to the best of my capabilities and establish a supportive environment that empowers them to progress towards their goals successfully. I enjoy putting a creative spin on techniques to help individuals find a way to relate to new skills that can be very helpful for them. I enjoying being able to utilize my creativity to think outside of the box, individualize treatment, and build rapport with clients in the best way possible.
It can be challenging to seek assistance when it's truly needed, and I admire those who can overcome that initial barrier to prioritize themselves. I find joy in aiding others and consistently advocate for reaching out, as that initial step is often the most difficult.
I enjoy being able to sit with clients, come up with ideas of how we can work on issues, and at times, that does include becoming uncomfortable but we’re working as a team to get you one step further to the goals you have!
